Mike is the founder and Managing Partner of The Merxana Group, a boutique growth strategy and EBITDA improvement consulting firm focused on companies with revenue below $5B, PE firms, and family offices. He has over 25 years of experience as an executive and management consultant transforming and improving global businesses across both B2B and B2C markets.
Prior to founding The Merxana Group, Mike was the EVP of Business Innovation Services at Forsythe Technology (a $1B technology firm), and a Partner at PwC and Booz & Company. Before Booz, Mike worked at A.T. Kearney and EDS.
Mike has extensive experience business level strategy, corporate strategy and strategy implementation and performance improvement in multiple industries, including automotive, industrial goods (aerospace, heavy equipment, naval vessels), transportation, consumer products, and technology. He has deep expertise in digital transformation and information technology, having built and managed large global practices in those areas.
Mike holds an MBA with an emphasis on corporate strategy from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, where he graduated with distinction. Additionally, Mike holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from West Virginia University.
